TERMS & CONDITIONS – RESIDENTIAL CLEANING

1. DEFINITIONS

     •           “Company” refers to MJB Cleaning Services.

     •           “Client” refers to the person or entity booking the service.

     •           “Service” refers to residential cleaning provided by the Company.

2. BOOKINGS & SERVICES

2.1 Services are provided as agreed at the time of booking.

2.2 Any additional services requested on the day may incur extra charges.

2.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse or cease service if conditions are unsafe, unhygienic, or outside the agreed scope.

3. PRICING & PAYMENT

3.1 All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).

3.2 Payment is via bank transfer only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.3 Payment is due on the day of service unless prior arrangements are made.

3.4 Overdue payments may result in suspension or termination of services.

4. ACCESS TO PROPERTY

4.1 The Client must provide safe and timely access to the property.

4.2 Keys, fobs, or access codes provided will be handled with reasonable care.

4.3 The Company is not responsible for delays or inability to clean due to lack of access.

5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 The Client agrees to:

     •           Secure pets during cleaning

     •           Remove excessive clutter where possible

     •           Inform the Company of fragile, valuable, or unstable items

     •           Disclose hazards, allergies, or sensitivities

5.2 The Company is not liable for damage caused by undisclosed fragile or unstable items.

6. HEALTH & SAFETY

6.1 The Company may use its own approved cleaning products unless otherwise agreed.

6.2 If the Client requests specific products, these must be supplied and safe for use.

6.3 Staff may refuse to perform tasks that pose a health or safety risk.

7. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

7.1 A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

7.2 Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a 50% service fee.

7.3 Repeated cancellations may result in termination of ongoing services.

8. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

8.1 Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

8.2 The Company will arrange a return visit where reasonable.

8.3 Refunds are not provided for change of mind or issues not reported within the required timeframe.

9. DAMAGE & LIABILITY

9.1 All reasonable care is taken while providing services.

9.2 Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of service.

9.3 Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the damaged item only.

9.4 The Company is not liable for:

     •           Normal wear and tear

     •           Pre-existing damage

     •           Items not reasonably accessible

     •           Damage resulting from faulty or unstable items

10. INSURANCE

The Company holds appropriate public liability insurance. Proof can be provided upon request.

11. TERMINATION

11.1 Either party may terminate ongoing services with 7 days’ written notice.

11.2 All outstanding invoices must be paid upon termination.

12. PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

12.1 Client information, access details, and keys are kept confidential.

12.2 Information is used solely for service delivery and administration.

13. FORCE MAJEURE

The Company is not liable for delays or failure to provide services due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, illness, or access restrictions.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.

15. ACCEPTANCE

By booking or continuing to use MJB Cleaning Services, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
